So, I bought fairly nice hand painted dishes that when left in the sink soaking with water around them overnight turned darker. They were say an eggshell/cream color and now the whole bowl is more like taupe. Not a bad color in itself but it no longer matches the rest. Are they waterlogged or something.?! Is it getting under the paint? There is a glaze over the paint so I don't see how this would happen. Is there anyway to fix this? I was thinking maybe putting them in the microwave for a long time to try to dry out the inside if that is what it is. Thanks for your help!!
