I have a 92 gallon corner tank I just set up with live rock and live sand I have not added fish yet but I am suddenly moving across town and now I have to start over I have coral life salt and red sea salt. Right now the tank only has coral life salt in it, could I mix the red sea salt and coral life salt together in the water or would it be a problem or create problems later? I had two tanks and used two different kinds of salt ( coral life & red sea salt ) I now only have one tank and I want to know if I can use both kinds of salt in the same tank to start the tank again!?

There is no reason why you cannot mix two different marine salt mix brands. Simply make sure that correct specific gravity is obtained prior to replacing the mixed water in the tank.

Sure it's possible. Being the *frugal* person I am, I've been known to buy whatever's on sale, so I've had more than 1 kind when I've opened something new and did a water change. I've used Instant Ocean, Coral life, Red Sea, and a few others at various times.

Just so you know, not all of them mix up equally well, sometimes I've had a lot of undissolved salt in the bottom of my mixing bucket.
