Alright I remembered a book recently that I read years ago, I cannot remember the name or a lot of details about it, but I would really love if someone knew the name.
Here's what I know:
- It was about a family in a colony traveling to another planet.
- I believe it was just a father and two children.
- They find a new planet but when they try to venture onto it by foot the grass/foliage is so sharp that it pierces through peoples shoes.
- No one knows if it's safe to eat the crops on the planet.
- Near the end one of the children makes pancakes out of crops from the planet and the father is horrified thinking they will die from eating it. But they are fine.
- The book is most likely a minimum of 10 years old.
- I believe it was aimed at preteen and young adult readers, but I'm not certain.
Thanks for any help!
