My professor gave back the grades of a test, they were 32 A's, 27 B's, 17 C's, 13 D's, and 38 F's.
The test was three questions. There were about five different versions of the test and he "normalized" the grades by adding a different curve to each test. I was one of the lucky ones but I was wondering, the curve is obviously not a bell curve so is it still fair to just curve the averages to the same? even though one version of the test may have been more difficult?
