Can you purchase a AT&T BlackBerry without a contract?

I have a prepaid account and just want to upgrade my phone to a BlackBerry.
I tried looking for one on EBay but they all come with the contract & I dont want the contract. I want a prepaid phone.

yes, but it will cost ALOT more and you obviously wont be able to call or anything.
