I think it's a young adult book and it's about a girl who gets kidnapped and brought to Australia by a guy that she had coffee or something with. I've read it about 3 times and I still love reading it again and again. If you like more adult books Cell by Stephen King is also good. It's supposed to be a horror (i think) but it isn't very scary and it's when the whole word goes crazy and this guy meets up with people who help him look for his young son.
