Is it possible to send someone a ringtone via bluetooth like you can a picture? I was able to with pictures, but not ringtones. I heard it was possible to. Any info would be great
Just to add, I have an LG Shine Flip and I'm on a Telus plan. Which other wireless network companies can and can't I trade ringtones with? I doubt the phone matters, just the server your with.

How do I get ringtones without paying for them?

It's possible, it depends on the applications built into the sending and receiving phones as to if your particular phone will do so.

It depends on the phone. Some phones allow you to, some don't. You have to remember BlueTooth is still quite new.

And the enormous cash cow that is the ringtone industry aren't keen on people "sharing" their "intellectual property", so it's often a feature a service provider can disable as well...

If the ringtones aren't locked (e.g. if you did not pay for the ringtone) you can send them via bluetooth. If you download one that you have paid for, many times they will lock them so you cannot copy them to another phone.
