Can you swap nicotene for something else in electronic cigarettes?

Namely menthol. I love the stuff and am trying to quit smoking. I don't want the nicotine but I like the feeling of smoking, inhaling. I figured electronic cigarettes would be a good alternative but since they have nicotine they aren't looking like such a good alternative anymore.

Some e cig manufactures make 0% nicotine cartrages. Just have to get menthol flavored. Btw, as a smoker, the smoke from an e cig doesn't have the same feeling as a cig going into your lungs. It is not as full feeling. And some ecigs are about $70-120. Mint gum is cheaper and you get a mint flavor too.
