I write stories, poems and articles. Is there some gadget specially for taking digital notes? Because I cant always have a note pad and pen with me, and anyway, anything I write on those aren't really safe. Is there a gadget especially to take notes?

Well you can use a livescripe pen. Which is pretty handy but still requires a specialized digital pen that you can up load to your computer. There is also a electronic writing tablet. but it still requires you to carry and electronic tablet with stylus. Your other option is to voice record then you can listen to it later and type it in at your computer. If you have an iPod you can buy certian accessories to allow it to voice record. I personally user a Sansa Mp3 player that has an built in recorder. All of their Mp3's have built in voice recorders. These voice recorders are super sensitive too. I'm in college and I can pick up the ticking of a clock on the other side of the room. It is small enough it can slide into a pocket. Then you can voice record your thoughts. Then listen to them later and type it out. You could also install a program dragon speak naturally that would take your voice recording into words. The final option is Quickscripe. All of them are going to require you carring something and how much money and time you take for each step is up to you..

Either a personal organiser with a notepad function or alternatively a voice dictation machine. Small netbooks are cheap enough now and would be easier to transfer data rather than copy it from either an organiser or a dictation device. Perhaps even a Blackberry phone would be suitable. You could take notes and email them to your home email address.
