can you travel by greyhound bus if you have a warrant out for your arrest?

my boyfriend has a warrant out for his arrest and he is in a different state. he needs to travel back to california to take care of his court stuff. if he traveled by greyhound bus would they arrest him like they would at an airport? does anyone know anything about this? he really needs to get home..
