Can you travel in Jamaica with a felony conviction?

My daughter wishes to be married in Jamaica but she would really like to have her father walk her down the aisle. He has a felony conviction and was released from parole over 20 years ago. There are no other charges since then. I know he can get a passport as there are no laws to keep him from it in the US, but I know Canada would not let him travel there even with a passport. She will change the place she gets married if he cannot travel to Jamaica to be with her. Can anyone tell me what Jamaica's requirements for him to travel there would be? I have been told by others that they have traveled to Jamaica with felony convictions and had no problem, but he has no wish to risk getting arrested or charged with any crime, so he would like to know what their LAW would be on that issue. Anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
