Can you use a Bell phone on a Solo Contract?

I have a solo phone that I LOVE but they don't update their phones a lot. So I wanted to know if anyone knows if I can purchase a Bell phone (regular price of course) and activate it under my Solo #?
(p.s I have purchased 2 different phones from Solo in the past and activated them under my plan so I know that's no problem, Just need to know about Bell Phones.)
 
Simply NO

Even though they are the same company; they want full control over your device...

I know, it sucks... But aren't solo phones cheaper?
