Can you use an AT&T phone with your Rogers sim card?

I've heard that if you're with Rogers you can get an AT&T phone and just put your Rogers sim card in it. Does anybody know how this works and if you need to do anything special to get it to work?

You need to unlock Mobile phone from current network lock.Without unlocking it you can't use with other GSM Network Sim card....Get the Unlock code from the site Unlock-free.com and Unlock it easily.
