I am using windows 7 64bit on my Toshiba Laptop A500. Noticed the other day that I am not automatically creating a restore point. So tried to do this manually. System Properties/system protection this brings up an unexpected error in properties page/system restore encounted error/please try to run system restore again (0x81000203) please try again.
Also in the system properties box all the boxes are greyed out ie system restore,configure,create box not available. Also it is searching to find drives available, nothing showing though.
My internet security is Kaspersky and I also have Tune up 2011 soon to get 2012 so wanted to add restore point before changing.
I do not want to go back to re loading windows as got to much stuff on my laptop. I have tried to google the problem but stuff on there does not seem to work.
