Can't you permanently rotate photos on nokia?

I took all these photos in portrait direction, and i want to turn them. In options it letsyou rotate but then it doesn't stay that way, and I want to put one of the photos as wallpaper.Is it somehowpossible to save the the rotation?? Please??
