My husband will be coming back from Iraq in December, I am trying to plan a romantic vacation for the beginning of January. We would like to keep the price for hotel, flight & food under $2000. We would like to stay in the US or take a cruise. We want a warm place so we can swim & hang out outdoors. Any ideas?
 
You need a cruise! You can find 7 day cruises (including everything except booze and shore trips which usually are not worth the cost), for 500 to 800 each and some for as little as 400.
Go to vacationstogo.com and search all lines and cruises. Be sure to look for military discounts and residence discounts.
