Message: <blockquote data-quote="smci" data-source="post: 2798550" data-attributes="member: 121007"><p>I've never cheated in an exam (because I'd be so worried about being caught I'd lose any advantage I'd have gained) but at the same time, exams, particularly beyond the US High School/UK A-Level systems start losing their purpose...I mean why learn two hundred equations for an exam paper, when in real life if you needed them you would look them up in a book (obviously disciplines like medicine dont fall into this category) so to a point I see the exam and coursework system as less of a test of ability and more of a test of your ability to sit exams.  It is easy to pass an exam with absolutely no knowledge about the subject if you know enough about the exam itself.</p></blockquote><p></p>
