Checking my toyota's self diagnostic system, help understanding the flashing

lights on the dash.? I recently found out how to jump the circuits of the OBD1 diagnostics test on my 1995 Toyota Previa, with the old paper clip trick. Anyway I got the check engine light and the oil light flashing in a sequence of codes. Now after some research I still have not found out what the oil light means, and why it is flashing. I am wondering if the oil light means anything in relation to the check engine light. Should i ignore it and only look at the check engine light flashes? Some help on this issue would be much appreciated.
