chevy tbi running rough and popping coming out of tailpipe?

1987 chevy silverado with a 350 tbi. one of the injectors was bad replaced it and the truck drove perfect until the next morning..truck is now rough idling and popping out of the tailpipe..when running the air you can smell a strong odor of gas..question is i am pretty sure it is the new injector not seating right or something but the injector has a small hole in the side does that hole face the inner opening on the throttle body or does it face the front or rear of the the throttle body????
 
Might have pinched o-ring on injector putting it in, causing it to leak and flood truck.

could be air leak to test try spraying choke cleaner or wd40 a round injectors if they not seated it wil suck into motor and way motor is running wil change sound you know you have a leak recheck your work and maybe add a bottle of fuel treatment or replace fuel filter but id say a air leak most likely
