chevy truck body control module?

i have a 05 chevy truck 2500 hd 6.0 .im having trouble with my body control module i loose my dome light gauges and i have a sacurity light on on my dash when i loose my gauges the battery light comes on but its still charging fine ,had it tested ,what i need to know is im about 1800 miles from home with 4 horses in my trailer will this or could this shut the motor down and leave me sitting on the side of the road with horses to worry about will it go home or do i need to finde a dealer here and get it fixed now
