I just got back from a survival training course and after a few days of instruction we had to go survive for a few days and now I'm covered in these chigger bites.

I didn't know what chiggers were until this past week but they itch bad and how do I stop the itching?
 
Take a warm bath. And buy some benadryl at your local pharmacy, that'll dry them out.
 
I've been attempting that unconsciously because they itch bad and I can't stop scratching them
 
rubbing alcohol a few times a day well dry them out.

edit:dosent do much for itchy part though
 
yea I've been trying to do that but you're right it still makes it itch

nail polish over the bites.

kills them, theyre in your skin and the poo makes you itch. cover their breathing hole in nail polish= suffocation.
 
Should I make a thread telling about me survivin guys?
I don't have pics but I ate bugs and killed bunnies and such.



when do they get off
