Noticed that the chimney vent is too close to the wood frame in the attic at our new house. The clearance is less than an inch and it should be over an inch and half. It's pretty high up since it's up above the second floor. But, still little bit concerned for fire safety. What can I do to fireproof it??
I do not know if it matters. But, i can fire it up with gas or burn wood.
