The sale is 100% legit and the Chinese are crying foul saying they are art artifacts looted. Should they be returned or should China just bid on them. I am of the opinion that since they are officially a Godless Communist nation they can pay 5 times the value if they want them. The Chinese are notorious for selling fakes and their Govt has sold the world poison, and allow counterfeit goods and steal our copyrights and intellectual property. Since they think stealing our property is OK, then they should pay the price for their failure to enforce the laws.
If these items were not stolen then China would probably have destroyed them during the Cultural Revolution, so they should be grateful that they are still in existence.
