We just got a chocolate lab last saturday and shes just gone 8 weeks old, but when she wakes up and theres no one in the room, she will start barking untill someone comes in. We've tried leaving her but she ends up pooing and peeing everywhere and treading in it. We also bought a big dog cage for her and her bed to go in, we've tried putting her in there so she can get used to it but she ends up pooing and peeing in it. We've tried this several times, but it's failed. none of us are sleeping at night. Please tell us where we're going wrong and how we can get her to sleep at night without someone having to be there all the time. She wakes up every 30 minutes - 1 hour to check theres someone beside her.
