Why wouldn't it be? You possessing a body is not a sin, it's the lustful thoughts of others that are a sin. Running through the streets naked is okay in my opinion. So do it ... now ...

I know krazy and Cactus mean well, but according to that logic, there would be no need for any of us to ever work, as God would provide for us regardless. I do not believe this is true, as I am aware we were made with free will, and God doesn't control our lives - only created them! We must take care of ourselves and each other, not rely on God to do everything for us. That is lazy!! If you are not hurting anyone, including yourself, and continue to uphold his commandments, I personally see no problem with it.

A Christian should trust God/Jesus and they will be provided for and not need to do this. Many of the world do these things because of need. We simply go to Jesus and our needs are met. No need to be a prostitute or dance or whatever evil you can conceive.

I've seen a few career strippers right after they retired and they all looked like they'd been ridden hard and put away wet (a country saying). Not a pretty sight.

A strip club is not a healthy environment and it will influence you to get into harder core things.

Just the fact that you're asking this question means that you know that it's not ok in God's eyes to be a dancer in a club. These verses reassure you that God will make sure that you have what you need in life, you don't have to compromise your morals to get your basic needs.
