Those of you who have actually read the bible cover to cover (not just the nice stuff) know it says that several times your god performed tests on humans - the story of Jacob and Isaac, the place in Genesis where god decides to go down to Earth and see if the complaints made to him are true etc. My question is - if your god is supposed to be omniscient, why does he need these tests?

You answered your own question. It doesn't say He "needed" to. He chooses to for our own benefit/or the people he was interacting with's benefit.

If you proceeded to impose your view, someone might say, "Hey, that's just your opinion."
However, if you could demonstrate that what you are thinking of doing is necessary, or evident .......nobody could contest.
He doesn't test to find out something.
He tests to render something evident.

my testings and trials are for everyone, all of them have their reason and purpose.,hears a blessing,a prayer and a our father said just for you.,practice the holy rosary, practice makes perfect,we love you all,the holy family.
