Chrysler 2.7 liter engine wont start when warm?

The other day, I decided to wash my car due to the fact it was filthy. I started up my car just fine and headed to the car wash. After shutting off the vehicle and washing it, I hopped in, turned the key to try and start it and then engine turned over, but the engine could not stay on and running for some reason. It died off, after intense shaking and horrible sounds. So after several attempts to start the car, it finally started completely and I headed straight home. At first thought I thought it was the battery seeing it was 3 years old and it was only a 2 year battery. So I replaced the battery. I drove the vehicle until the engine was warm, as expected when driving a vehicle. I turned off the car, waited a few minutes, then tried starting it back up. Same problem happened again, the car couldn't start back up after I shut it off. Does anyone have any ideas as to why or what is keeping my ole chrysler from starting back up after the engine gets warm? Also it is winter, and the car will start up just fine when the engine is cold.
