My mother owns a 2003 Chrysler 300M. It has slightly over 110k miles now, and we would trade it in but unfortunately it isn't an option right now. The car used to die while driving (mainly when accelerating), sometimes it would restart, other times you would need to wait around 5-10 minutes before it would restart. We had the camshaft and crankshaft sensors replaced about a week ago, and have yet to experience this problem. Now it has developed yet another issue.. After the car has sit for no particular amount of time, the car will crank but not turn over. This can happen after running in a store for 5 minutes or sitting in a restaurant for an hour, it just happens randomly. Eventually it will start, and idle very rough. After it starts it may die a few more times before you can actually get going. Any idea what may be wrong or if the problems are related? Any help is appreciated!
