I believe most oil lights are set to come on when the oil pressure drops down to 5 pounds. It is possible your oil pump is getting worn which will eventually cause greater problems. Most of this new fangled junk is beyond me , but I would definitely keep a close eye on the oil pressure , even to the point of possibly installing a gauge. Good luck.</p></blockquote><p></p>
