cipro causing yeast infection?

I have taken 5 out of my 10 days of cipro for a UTI...my UTI symptoms are gone, but it has caused a bad yeast infection!! Now I've skipped 2 doses because of it...should I start back on the cipro or be concerned about getting this yeast infection cured? I've treated it with OTC and its finally starting to feel better. Have been taking acidophilous all along but it didn't help I guess!
