.I'm going to civil court tomorrow and i've never been to court before. so i have absolutely no clue what to expect. Here's the story. My wife's aunt has been stalked (5 plus years) by this dude who lives above her business. After she got married, stalking became harassment. Last month, i was visiting her and outside the business, dude was blowing kisses to her in front of my face... so i shove the guy to back off then he fell on his head...cracking it open (required 10 stitches)...turned out he's mentaly & physically disabled. So police & ambulance came...we told them what happened...filed the report & etc. It turned out my wife's aunt had few more previous police report against him. In March, he scratched her husband's brand new MDX... she has that on surveillance camera. But after all these years, she never filed a complaint against him. I convinced her to do so, and now tomorrow's the court date. What should i expect and what should i bring with me?
Thanks in advance

First of all...dress nicely. If you have written any notes on what you have experienced or witnessed, bring them. Basicly...anything you have which will help prove your aunt's case.

Edit: Also, be cool, composed and polite to everyone...even the defense cousel. It helps your aunt's case to have a witness who is well-spoken, polite and likable.
