My 10 gallon tank gets really dirty very fast. Dirty as in there is a lot of fish poo at the bottom. I clean my tank weekly but my fish are getting bigger and they are producing more and more waste. I have 2 snails, 1 otos, 3 ghost shrimp, and 5 guppies. I was just wondering, should I clean my tank more often, like instead of doing a 25% water change a week, do maybe a 10-15% water change every 4-5 days.
Another question, my ghost shrimp are almost dead, I have had them for a long time and I think it is their time soon. Is there any other kind of shrimp that would fit in my tank and will not bother any other fishes and eat tropical flake food and blood worms?
