2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi 2.7L V6 AutoTransmission w/ AutoStick. 53,000 miles. AutoTrans fluid and filter replaced at about 40,000 miles. First, the car would make a constant whine in the front right bearing area, after making a hard right turn, whine matches wheel speed, even if shifting to Neutral and coasting with engine off. Main Problem: Now I hear a clunking that matches wheel speed while driving even when the road is smooth, no bumps. I put the car up on a lift in my shop, wheels off the ground, started the car, shifted through the gears with my foot on the brake, put the car in Neutral and the wheels still turn at 1 MPH or so, with the Engine running ! what the heck ? This didn't do this before ? !
