Im 14, and I stole some liquid codeine from my medicine cabinet the other day, and drank a little and i felt nothing. i drank about 4 teaspoons, when the reccomended dose is 1 teaspoon per 4 hours.
well i saved it, and yesterday me and my friend went out for the day to hang out with some guy friends, and we smoked alot of marijuana and then my friend and i decided to drink some of the codeine.
So then between the two of us we finished off about a pint of it, and we were fine just a little goofy for the first 20 min. or so.
but then, when i looked in the mirror it all hit me when i noticed that my skin was WHITE and my lips where blue and my eyes were red, I looked like a zombie. I was so scared that I started freaking out, and I kept blacking out for seconds at a time.
I then looked at my friend, who was experiencing the same things as me, and she asked me if we were going to die. I just remember feeling like I was jumping in and out of reality, and things were spinning, and I was itching bad, and my heart was hurting really bad like I was having a heart attack. My mouth got INCREDIBLY dry and I had a hard time breathing. I could talk or walk or cry or anything, and I was so scared.
But I eventually called my parents, and they came and picked me up. And since I told them the whole truth of what happend, I'm not in alot of trouble at all. but i will NEVER touch codeine or any thing like that agian.
but i was wondering, was that an overdose? could I have died? And did the smoking weed make it worse? And if i am stupid again in the future and make the worst mistake of my life- what do i do when im having a really bad trip like i did? because it was the scariest experience of my life.
