I have a very stressful job working with difficult clients who are verbally and sometimes physically abusive. I am expected to cover a large region, which means I drive at least 2 hours every day, but sometimes up to 6 hours per day. I typically leave my house about 7:30 am or 8:00 am and get home between 7:00 and 8:00 pm. After work, I must answer e-mails and complete paperwork for 1-3 hours or so. I usually work 6 days per week. I sometimes take the entire weekend off, but doing so usually causes me to fall behind. I have no time for myself, family, or friends. Work consumes my life and I often find myself feeling burnt out and depressed. It is unlikely I would be able to find another job in my field as I am freshly out of college and not licensed in my field yet. I am salaried and make good money, but the work is killing me. Am I just being whiny or are these legitimate complaints? Any suggestions? Thanks!
