Computer gaming Hardware specs?

Im getting a new comp wanted to know if it was good enough to play most of the newer games on the market on low detail
3.0 Ghz Amd dual core
9800 Nvidea
2 250 GB SATA hard drives
4 Gb of RAM
I dont really know a lot about computers and this computer is actually a gift so I wanted to know if I could play games on this computer I dont really know if this computer is slow or fast
 
Ya you will be fine with any game, good video card, processor, and ram
