I am in the process of purchasing a home theater receiver with HDMI 1080p upconversion. My question is if i use an HDMI cable from my computer to my receiver which is then connected to the TV (via HDMI cable as well) will the receiver upconvert the dvd's and media that I play on my computer to 1080p? I am asking this because I watch all my dvd's on my computer so I want to make sure that the receiver with the HDMI conversion upgrade (and price upgrade) will be worth the purchase.
