OK, so I bought this overkill computer, with 12 gb ram connected to an Asus III Rampage Motherboard, but for some reason my computer says that I only have 4 gb of RAM. I use win7 64bit (of course) so that's not the problem. So I thought that it might be a bad Ram stick or something so I ran memtest, but then of course it only tested the 4 gb it could find. So I tried booting my computer with only one stick and run memtest to see if that would wor, but then it won't start at all. Or, actually, the computer starts but the screen stays blank. I use 6 2gb 1600mhz sticks. Any ideas what to do here?
