confused about vacation hours pay by CVS/Pharmacy?

I started working for CVS/Pharmacy and I have been getting direct deposit. Recently, i actually read paycheck stub and noticed that I have earned 16.07 hours and have used none. There is a note too that all 2012 vacation must be used by 12/29/2012. So what does this mean? I average about 4 hours a day at work. I work 5 days a week, so total 20 hours. So does that mean i can get 4 days off and get paid 16 hours or what?
