I've searched everywhere...and I can't find anything that says oil companies were forced to drill in deep water...
ON THE CONTRARY.... I see lots of Republican columns and Bush/Cheney statements saying that deep water drilling should be allowed because that's where the oil is....and lots of Liberal columns, and Al Gore statements saying that deep water drilling is DANGEROUS for our environment and should be banned altogether...
PLEASE TRY YOUR BEST TO SUBSTANTIATE THIS RIDICULOUS ASSERTION....
