I was so anti-Apple, but after a couple years, the iPhone is just undeniable. I LOVE my Blackberry, not dissatisfied with it at all, and I absolutely LOVE my provider (T-Mobile), but I just love the iPhone's apps! The main thing I'm afraid of is leaving T-Mobile and my Blackberry behind, only to get the iPhone for myself and realize I absolutely hate it, and to be dissatisfied with Verizon's service (I def. will not get one from AT&T due to their recent lack of unlimited data plans). Leaving T-Mobile scares me to death. But I think I'll be satisfied with my iPhone if I can find a GREAT speech to text app for it. I'm pretty tech savvy. I don't read manuals, pretty much able to figure out any new electronic device I get within that day, but I honestly find iPhones a bit complicated. I feel like such a newb saying that. Anyway, I'm sure I can get over that.. the only thing I KNOW I will NEVER EVER be able to get used to is texting on a touch screen phone. I've used iPhones several times.. the texting is horrible. I can't do it. Nothing comes out as I want it to, even with auto-correct (which is even worse sometimes). I know I definitely will not get one without a good speech to text app. I need one that pretty much recognizes what I'm trying to say the instant I say it and the majority of the time. I can't deal with repeating myself over and over, because I have no patience for that. I don't have an accent or anything, so I know my own voice won't be an issue.. I just know some apps aren't that great, and I need one that is. I also want to know if there's any that you can add your own words to (cuss words for example).. Thanks in advance. If you have websites for the apps you recommend, that'd be great as well!
