ConvertXtoDVD & DivX causing internet browser incompatibility issues. HELP?!?

Okay, so here's the thing. I've installed ConvertXtoDVD & DivX onto my Windows Vista this past weekend & noticed that its causing problems to my browsers. Firefox, Safari, & regular Internet browsers lags for a very long time. It'll load but web pages won't open & all I get is blank pages when it's done loading. & I've noticed that when I uninstalled the programs, my browsers load like normal & everything works fine again. Does anyone know the possible reasons for these two programs to be causing incompatibility issues?
And when it's installed, start-up runs slow also...
 
Have you tried to remove one program at a time, to see which one is causing the problem ?
maybe they interfere with each other ?
