Cost to replace 1999 jeep wrangler windshield?

My boyfriend's 1999 jeep wrangler's windshield has a crack in it, must be from the cold. I was wondering how much it would cost to replace the entire windshield. Also, is it a must? The crack is close to the passenger side and it goes from the top of the windshield almost to the bottom. It won't effect the ability to see out of the windshield or driving. I was just wondering if it had to be fixed and if it does, how much it would cost.

pretty cheap now days 150 buck maybe easy just look in phone book under auto glass many come to you do it in 30 minutes i had two replace one was 165 other was 150 easy to call
