My rabbit has severe arthritis in her right leg.
We took her to the doctors a month ago but the medication given to her hasnt improved her at all so i was wondering if i could give her some fish oil (because apparently it helps with arthritis) and if i can, how much do i give her daily.

much appreciated! thanks (:

No. Rabbits should never ever ever have any sort of animal-based product at all. They can't digest it properly and it will upset their stomachs severely. They require a strict vegan diet.

You can, however, supplement her diet with Myristol, which many people have good success with in rabbits. Small quantities are available here: http://www.coloradohrs.com/gifts.asp You can also buy it in larger containers at many feed stores, though it would likely spoil before you could use it. The version fed to rabbits is the horse product, which is in alfalfa-based pellets. If it given at the rate of 1-2 pellets daily.

I have also found massage to help some arthritic rabbits quite a bit. You might want to check out this book and give it a try: http://www.amazon.com/Relaxed-Rabbit-Massage-Your-Bunny/dp/0595310621/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1261556506&sr=8-1
