Beauty is at its root simplicity
fistfuls of roses
blown from the lover’s lips
their soft petals perpetuating
caressing silk skin
oceans of passion tumbling,
gliding across abrasive sand-
float, float like a cloud.

The musician’s piano whispers
blatant truth held up to light
and the crowd is fixeted
there is a part unknown
and another known
art is at heart of beauty
blood rushing forth billows
each thread of life flickers
held up together
in a web,
connected through expression.

It might not be much
in fact from afar it’s nothing
but my finger can’t quite place it,
the picnic in the sun
hot rays brimming and flowers flexing
there is an end to all,
but in end is beauty,
the greatest show at sunset.

I'm 16 years old half way through high school. Its been a long dream of mine to get published with my poetry. A lot of my poems are like this (I have 8800 in a word document). They're not written about the same thing though. I wrote one about seasons, love, weather, etc. How was this poem I wrote?
