hi everyone! we will be taking a family vacation to dc soon and we have never been to a larger city before. i have been trying to find the most economical and safest routes for us to follow while in town and was wondering how much a cab would charge to take us from the metro station to our hotel which will be a little over 3 miles. any info is appreciated! thanks for your time!
or would it be better to take the bus to the nearest stop which is about a block away from the hotel? the hotel is located on the NE side of New York Ave if that helps
as you can see, i have many questions....lol also, will a cab driver try to rip you off if he can tell you are from out of town? and what do you say when you get in the cab? the address where you are going? or the name of the hotel or place? or what? sorry for the small town ignorance ; )
