Cydia crashed my iPAD!?

So, I just wanted to see what this "Cydia" is which my brother probably downloaded and i went there... and a pop-up came saying I have to upgrade or maybe update some things in there and i did! The thing started happening in a black background and after it was done... it said that maybe the iPAD is restoring or restarting and so it did. BUTT.... It freezed in loading screen after that! I can't close it neither oepn iPAD1 you know the loading screen when there's the apple logo is in middle and surrounded with black! It freezes there! Nothing happens! Can anyone plz tell me the suggestion?

Plug it into your computer and restore because your brother jailbroke the device an probably downloaded some bad apps.

This is one of the inherent problems with jailbreaking iPods/iPads. The good news is that instead of turning the device into a useless doorstop, you can connect it to your computer and do a factory restore. This will erase all data on it, but if you have your apps backed up, at least they will be restored. If not, well, you get the pleasure of downloading, installing and configuring them all over again.
