I have a rescued purebred (we believe) male Dachshund. I do not know much of his history as he was a rescue. He was abandoned and the "dog pound" picked him up running around town. He is about 10 years old. My question is Is there a reason both of his lower corners of his ears would be notched? At first I thought maybe it was something he had gotten caught in (while he was abandoned) but they are perfect notches that match on both ears. Is this something a breeder would of done? They are small and not too noticeable until you pick his ears up. He has been my best friend now for a year..I am so glad I found him!
