Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is prepping Resident Evil fans and Milla Jovavich thigh enthusiasts for the upcoming release of the third Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil: Extinction, due to hit theaters late September. The company is packing together the first two Resident Evil film adaptations into one budget package, the Resident Evil: Double Feature Resurrected Edition, due to hit store shelves September 4th.
For just $19.94, you'll get not only Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Apocalypse, but also a free movie ticket for Extinction. The special edition two-pack also contains a "bridge scene" narrated by Jovovich (in character) that tie the first two episodes to the third. Think I'll wait for the triple-pack before jumping in, Sony.

A deadly T-virus has been unleashed, killing the lab's personnel and resurrecting them as the evil and ravenous undead. Battling the hungry zombies and mutated lab animals, the team has just three hours to deprogram the lab's complex computer, "The Red Queen," and shut down the facility before the virus threatens to overrun the Earth.
