If, and I place strong emphasis on if, you are someone who is opposed to homosexuality, its existence, or homosexuals, and think that by preaching, you're helping. Please stop. You are not helping anyone, you're just hurting yourself and making your religion look bad. We homosexuals honestly don't care what you say; whether we are gay Christians, we believe we are going to heaven with everyone else. Whether we are Atheists, we believe we are going to die, just the same as everyone else. We do not believe who we are and what we do is sinful, so we would appreciate it if you would simply leave us to our lives, and we will leave you to yours. We understand what the Bible says; however, we feel it a stupefaction that you focus so wholeheartedly on that when so many other things are condemned in the Bible. Were you a true Christian, to both yourself, and to God, you would simply turn the other cheek. I feel, were everyone to adhere to this, we could coexist in a much better environment. Thank you.

Sincerely,
A gay man

You know you're preaching to the choir, right? This will not happen in this decade. Hopefully in the next, when laws are changed and schools get the message through to children that being a bigot is wrong, despite what their parents tell them.

Listen up you pathetic hypocrits..
People are born Gay, Bisexual or Strait. Gay people don't decide to be gay, they just ARE Gay. Even though I'm not Gay myself (Although I am a Bi-Sexual), I support gay rights; Everyone deserves to be treated equally. And.. Whoever opposes this.. Can seriously go be possessed by a deamon or whatever is bad in their religion.

K thx.

If you have the chance, check out my last question.

The truth is that many of them cling to the idea that the New Testament condemns homosexuality, when in the original Greek language it is very questionable as to whether it mentions consensual homosexuality at all (other than as a PUNISHMENT for idolatry, not as a sin in itself, in Romans).

At worst, the language used seems to place homosexuality alongside adultery as 'fornication' - a sin that includes anything from sex outside of marriage, to sex in a second marriage (after a divorce for anything OTHER than adultery by the original spouse - the only specifically-condoned reason for divorce), which places many heterosexual Christians in the exact same boat. At best, it does not mention homosexuality as a sin, but non-consensual homosexual prostitution.

No.

Why? Because IF you know by the WORD of GOD what He deems to be reprehensible and an abomination, that makes you entirely accountable for continuing in that habitual sin. Why not rather Obey your Maker and pray for Him to break the curse, and the desire for the same gender.

God has truly made Himself clear on the issue; if you choose to ignore it, then dire will be your consequences. Do you really Want to be given over to an ENTIRELY REPROBATE MIND?
Do you even know what that means? It means that you have persisted so long in vehement rebellion to God, that He literally leaves you to yourself....to destroy yourself. You no longer have the precious gift of conviction of spirit, soul/mind and conscience. You will bring yourself to an entirely lost condition, where you will no longer know right from wrong.
Do not feel singled out, buddy. ANYone who claims Christ Yeshua as their Salvation is held to the exact same thing.
Continuous, perpetual, habitual sins which we KNOW according to God and His WORD are evil and wrong, will lead us into reprobation. And I am not sure that there is a Way back from such a sentencing.
And I do apologize that I HAVE to be so blunt with you, but consider this:
"Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins" ~James 5:20

To say "homosexual Christian" is a contradiction in terms. Break it down, we both know what homosexual means, but "Christian"? Well, it means "TO BE CHRIST-LIKE". Meaning that once we are born again, our entire lifespan is the working of sanctification. My friend, You and you alone must ask yourself: Do I love Jesus, or Do I love my sin?"
You missed the whole point of the shedding of blood in His living sacrifice; He gave us the POWER to OVERCOME sin. Hating that which He hates, and Loving that which He loves.

Please prayerfully reconsider your ways.
In absolute sincerity, love and perseverance be granted to you, in the Name above ALL Names; Jesus CHRIST!
Love,
Sarah

I would like to add that perhaps you should address this to "Dear Anti-Gay People."

Because it may offend the Christians who are not anti-gay people when you add the word "Christian." But, more importantly, there are plenty of anti-gay people who are not Christian. What good will it do gay people if only the anti-gay Christians stop offending gays? You will still be left with all the anti-gay non-Christians offending gays…and that's no good, right!?!

" We homosexuals honestly don't care what you say; whether we are gay Christians, we believe we are going to heaven with everyone else"

You are suffering under a misconception that will end up seeing you in hell, which is why I won't stop

You cannot embrace God and Sin....God won't stand for it.

Where in the bible does it say that you cannot be a homosexual or its a sin to be homosexual?

With all do respect, you are wrong. Many of those struggling with a homosexual addiction in and outside of the Church have found peace and truth with the help of people like Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, Dr. James Dobson and Kent A. Paris. There expertise and care of God's Word has offered those with same-sex attraction an alternative.

The reason this issue is pushed within the Church is because of society's active, militant agenda concernng homosexuality and the many homosexuals in the Church in need of counseling.

Turning the other cheek does not mean turning a blind eye. I truly hope you find the help that I did.

That is a very practical request...but I think you will find that it won't happen. It is in the nature of people to stand up for things they believe in and since homosexuality is such a controversial thing in our society, people will always be accepting of it or hateful.

It is true that God condemns many things in the Bible and it is perplexing to me why people place such an emphasis on homosexuality. It is not a greater than any other sin. Also, some gay Christians do think that engaging in homosexual acts is wrong. There are plenty of personal testimonies that show that. But, yes, I agree that the majority does not think it is wrong. That does not, however, change what the Bible says. The fact that I think engaging in homosexual acts is wrong does not have anything to do with gay people, and I don't have anything against them.

I do understand, though, where this is coming from because there are a good number of people that think they have to hate gay people because God calls homosexuality a sin. I also understand a little bit, how it feels to be hated because, let's face it, Christians aren't exactly everyone's favorite people. I know how it feels to be hated so I certainly do my best not to hate others.

Correction, it should be "Dear Anti-Sin Christians" Christians are against every form of sinning not just your sin..

I don't take care about their preaching... I used to volunteer on a psychiatric asylum and I never gave a shit about what I heard, but also the crazy people never tried to take legal, constitutional actions against me. THAT IS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM WITH CHRISTIANS.

I like your -question/manifesto.

Aww, did someone hurt your feelings? Get over it! It's the internet, you'll meet a ton of morons on here that will judge you. Don't generalize Christians, I don't agree with homosexuality but I could care less what you do in your free time.

no such thing...we are all sinners...come to church anytime...then dont come here if you dont like it...we are just answering..
